We had a complimentary wine tasting (maybe because it was the off season). A good variety of wines, flavored balsamic vinegars and olive oils. The staff was very welcoming and informing about the wines. A nice gift shop also. We did not experience the restaurant but the menu looked bvery tasty !

Their wines are a real mix. While all their wines are good, the high end and more expensive wines are excellent! I just have a hard time paying $54 for a bottle of wine! The gift shop is fun and the Winemakers Grill is amazing!

The ultimate in wine tasting when you go in the evening. It is a nice walk from most of the condos if you are staying there and an easy drive from anywhere in the area. We went over and tasted several wines before settling in for our dinner meal. A few there even bought wine at the tasting and took it into the restaurant with them. A nicely varied offering of food with the suggested wine pairings. This was a very nice evening of good wine, good food and an enjoyable setting.

We were craving a steak while over in Chelan, so headed to this place to check it out. We were not disappointed! Our table (there were four of us) started out with the Fire Prawns and the three people who ate it (I am not a seafood eater) raved about it - the flavor and the way it was cooked (i.e., not overcooked, as prawns apparently often are). My husband followed up with a cup of clam chowder, which he very much liked (most of the time he says chowders are "just okay," so this was definitely a step up). We all had very fresh salad with great dressing, then all four of us had steaks. The steaks were all cooked perfectly for us as ordered and had great flavor. The server was friendly and we didn't feel rushed in the least. We couldn't resist dessert and while I thought I was going to have "just two bites" of my husband's Turtle Pie, it was way too good to resist and I ended up eating at least half. The ambiance was lovely with piano and guitar players as well. I would eat here again in a heartbeat. Well done!

We have been to Wapato Point Winery a few times over the last 7-8 years. This time there was some minor repair construction going on in the tasting room, so the tasting bar was actually in the dining room. It was okay, and we know this was a temporary arrangement. As a result of the construction, the gift shop was also moved, now in the entry way to the dining room. We went for a tasting, and then back for dinner that evening. The small fireplace dining area was very nice, a warm wood fire in the fireplace, little fairy lights, felt very cozy. We had an excellent dinner, choosing casual pub-like food over the more fine dining choices. Service was perfect, and the owner even stopped by to see if everything was satisfactory.

We've been going to the Wapato Cellars restaurant since it opened a few years ago. Located on the grounds of Wapato Point resort, it offers some of the best food in Chelan combined with some good house wines. The service is a bit iffy, mostly local high school students who don't have a clue but the management really tries to make the seasonal customers happy. It's not as affordable as it formerly was but the lamb is really great. Desserts are not anything to write home about but the casual atmosphere is right for Manson.

My husband and I went to the cellars for a quick wine tasting and ended up staying well over an hour. The wine was good, the cheese plate was huge--an amazing value, and the ambiance was great. We highly recommend.

Enjoyed a variety of wines in the tasting room and decided to stick around for an enjoyable dinner in the patio. The Winemaker Salad with marinated steak was outstanding. Heard that the restaurant could be a little "hit & miss" for quality. Our trip to Wapato has a "hit" and went home with a six pack of wine!
