If your going to 3 Floyds you know about the beer, which is amazing, but the food for lunch is also excellent.

We visited between Christmas and New Years, and the place has a strict 75 person seating limit and no standing at the bar. Literally you can't drink a beer unless you are in a seat, so unlike many other breweries where they encourage drinking and talking and visiting with friends, this place makes it ultimately impossible.Best bet - get there early! We were in town from North Carolina, so I send hubby to bar for a drink (versus the 1.5 hour wait for a table at 2pm on a Monday afternoon.)Excellent selection overall of craft beer, and worth visiting. Just make sure you know during peak holiday times and weekends you will be out standing in the cold.

The Three Floyds Brewery is known far and wide. I was on a cruise and mentioned I lived in Munster, Indiana. Most of the time I have to explain where that is, but this person I was talking to at my table blurted out, "Oh, that's where Three Floyds Brewery is located. They make Dark Lord." The last sentence was said in awe and reverence. Dark Lord is the once a year released Imperial Stout which draws crowds of people. On ordinary days one can get any number of very good craft beers not only from Three Floyds, but elsewhere. The place has its oddities. It's very loud most of the time. I think if you want a job servicing tables you must have at least 10 visible tatoos and 14 piercings. But the service is good, the food interesting, and, Ah, the beer is good.

Driving on I-94 to Chicago and not stopping at 3 Floyd's would be like going to Rome and not stopping at the Vatican. This is the best brewpub on the planet, hands down. Always busy because they're awesome. Beer to go is very reasonably priced considering the quality.

We have been fans of Three Floyds beer for a while now but only via the liquor store. Visiting craft breweries is becoming a hobby for us and we finally got up to Munster to visit this great place. It was what we were expecting as far as atmosphere and decor. The artwork was super cool in the hallway to the bathrooms. We always enjoy seeing the artwork on their labels and packaging. We did not eat on this visit, but the food looked really good. The beer of course was delicious -we had Zombie Dust, Alpha King and Gumball Head. The little store was nice for those who just want beer to go. The only thing that threw us off a bit was the price. We understand that in the Chicago areas that is probably the going price for a pint ($5), but after visiting several breweries in 5 different states now, those was the most expensive craft beer pints we have bought. The "to go" price on a 6 pack was $10 and that is what we would pay at a store so that was reasonable for sure.

Thanks for making great beer and great food! Our service was excellent. I heard that you guys can get pretty busy, but I must have made it at a good time!

Good food and excellent beer. We got in during the week at 5 pm and had no problem getting a table or a seat at the bar. I heave heard about long waits & unfriendly service, but that wasn't the case when we were there. Also able to get 2 cases & a couple big bottles to go without any problems. Just wish I could have returned home with Zombie Dust.

Attended DLD 2014, and it was generally a good time. Weather wasn't the best, but it wasn't something they could control. My two friends both got DL Variants and I didn't, so I was pretty salty about that and ended up getting pretty drunk. It was still a good time though, and definitely an experience to try. Another day I was in the area and drove by to pick up some beer. I wanted to get Zombie Dust or Gumbalhead but they had neither. I still left with a box full of some pretty good beers, but slightly disappointed.

Extraordinarly rude service people is what stays with me from my visit. The beer was great - don't get me wrong- but it was clear the servers really didn't want you bothering them. The food was overpriced and so-so at best. I can enjoy their beers at plenty of other bars where you are made to feel welcome. Never again.

We visited Three Floyds back in April. The food was great and the selection of home made beer was very extensive. What a change now. The list of home made beer is much shorter and the food quality unfortunately went down. The burger was so so, chicken sandwich was soggy and did not taste of being grilled, french fries were greasy. Three Floyds beer glass that we bought as a gift for our friend was not of the best quality. I have an older made glass and it is much much better. I am just seeing the lowering of quality. Zombie Dust was absolutely awesome, 10 out of 10 and I hope that the beer quality will not go down. I am not sure if we are going to visit pub any time soon, beer will be definitely on our shopping list.

It's too bad this place isn't larger to accommodate the crowds. An 1-2 hour wait with no place to get a beer and told we have to wait outside. The hostess was extremely rude and not friendly one bit. We waited in the line to purchase beer while waiting for our table. Once seated we enjoyed some of our favorite beers and awesome food. Our server was much friendlier than the hostess. Its unfortunate that they don't take reservations or have a larger facility or a bar to have a beer considering this is a brewery

Small hidden establishment where they brew their own brands of beer. Some are known worldwide. Their menu is very small and somewhat different (like their beers) . But overall good quality.

Several friends and I met there for lunch on Saturday. We have been there several times, but the menu had changed a lot. The appetizers were great, especially the wings. We ordered 3 entrees and shared them. The pork shoulder sandwich is the best pork I have had in months. Stuffed chicken had a very good, subtle taste and the Thai pizza with coconut was a surprising hit. We even managed to save room for a desert of beignets, tasty fried dough dipped in chocolate sauce. The beer was great as usual as was the service. The drawback was the lack of space. More parking is desperately needed and they need to expand the space for seating. We arrived at 45 minutes before they opened, just to make sure we could get seats at noon when he opened.

Went here a few years ago, but during the day, midweek. Thought I'd stop in for a brew or two while picking up product at the to-go window, but it was a crowded madhouse in there on a Friday night. Besides, the A/C didn't seem to be working on a hot and humid evening, so we decided to get our to-go beer and head off for a place near our motel that had Gumballhead on tap.I guess when you can sell 100% of everything you make in fairly quick fashion, you really don't have to care about making a comfortable environment for visitors. Lady at the to-go window was quite pleasant, though.

Road trip! I came to Indiana specifically for lunch at 3 Floyds. I was unaware that their food menu was so eclectic; however, they seemed more than happy to "normal" up their menu. I had a chicken sandwich, which was actually amazing. Now for the beer.... They don't offer flights in the traditional sense but will pour a 3- or 4-oz sampler of several beers and they'll let you taste a splash of any of 'em, too. I thought the Gumballhead (American pale wheat), Robert the Bruce (Scotch ale), and Zombie Dust (APA) were all great and the Space Station: Middle finger (APA), War Mullet (DIPA), and Arctic Panzer Wolf (DIPA) were amazing!I hope to never find myself in Indiana again, but if I do, I can assure you I'll be stopping by 3 Floyds again!
