My parents and I wandered into the museum and found it to be a nice surprise. The best part was that the featured artist was a former administrator that knew my parents and attended their wedding in 1963. My dad exclaimed well I have a piece of his collection!

For a college campus I expected more. Huge rooms, very little on display. Oddly organized, no flow between rooms. Not much explanations of exhibits.

It was a nice little museum. I think when I visited there just were not many items on loan. One visit was enough

I love this place. Each time I'm in Manhattan, I try to stop in a check it out. They almost always have a Birger Sandzen on display, one of my very favorite. And the Andersson-Wise designed building is a piece of art in and of itself. I actually take photographs of the building most times I am there! Whoever set the Chihuly sculpture in the front stair case must be a genius. It is stunning, even from a distance.About the only issues you might have are the parking, which is often hard to come by, and the lighting, which is inexplicably dim. Sure, they will tell you that the lower lighting protects the art work. But why is this the darkest of art museums I've seen? It's really off-putting.Be sure to go to the Beach. You won't regret it.

A variety of art to view while visiting. There was a traveling exhibit there that was quite different. Be prepared to spend well over an hour to go through the museum to appreciate the pieces. I like the lighting in each hall. There is no admission fee, however they do accept donations.

Every time I go to a new exhibit I am so impressed with where this museum is going compared to a few years back - I enjoy the edgy point of view that insinuates itself into the traditional Kansas perspective that I usually see.

I have not actually gone trough the museum, but the space for conferences/banquets and employees were great. I plan on going back through the museum soon.

It's not exactly a large museum, but the curators do a great job of having a variety of exhibits and pieces up, with explanations for most of them. The traveling or rotating exhibits are my favorite part.

We aren't art experts but we appreciate an opportunity like Marianna Kistle Beach Museum of Art. A wide variety of impressive art in a pleasant atmosphere. A lovely way to soak in some culture. We appreciate this gift to K-State and it's visitors.

There isn't much to do (culturally) in Manhattan, KS, so I was gladly surprised to find this nice museum there. Though relatively small, the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum has very nice collections of paintings, sculptures and pottery by local artists. With great art, free parking and free admission, this should be one of the top attractions in Manhattan!

The permanent and special collections are always well presented. We visit every time we are in Manhattan

Everyone should take time to go the beach! It's always worth it and the changing exhibits are always wonderful! The permanent collection is such a great tribute to Kansas artists and the beach's building in itself is a wonderful contribution to Manhattan! Takes my vote of top place to visit in Manhattan, plus it's free!
