I love the European pub feel of this place. The food is excellent and always served in a timely fashion. If beer is your thing, this is a great place to come. I don't particularly care for beer but that was before I discovered Crabbie's Ginger Beer, at the Moon and Raven. Service has always been polite and friendly!

I found this place to be charming. It's in an old building that has been tastefully redone, keeping the old accents. The large front windows open to the outside, giving the feeling you are in a sidewalk cafe. There are 20+ draft beers with the emphasis on local brews. Admittedly, I was there during the day, but the staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the small [plenty] fish and chips expecting the usual bar food--thin, cheap fish and overcooked. It was none of these things. It was a 1" thick filet of atlantic cod cooked to perfection--not overcooked. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. I will definitely return.

I have eaten here twice since they opened. The first was for a lunch and it was delicious and the service good. I couldn't wait to bring my family (husband and daughter makes 3 of us) for dinner. Well, it was packed on a Friday night. OK, that is to be expected...so we decided to wait for a table. We sat in the hallway outside the restaurant for over a half hour while people who went in AFTER us never came back out so apparently we were forgotton about? So we asked and they cleared a table for us. We then sat at the table UNRECOGNIZED by anyone, let alone whoever was supposed to be our server. Not "hello", not a "I'll be right with you", no acknowledgement whatsoever. We literally sat there for another 15 to 20 minutes and then just got up and left. No one stopped us. No one said a word to us. They just didn't care, or were too busy to care. I had to apologize to my family for the bad experience and only wished they could have had the experience I had had when I went there for lunch. Too bad that will NOT be happening. They blew it with us. We eat out often and would have loved to make this a regular stop. We'll take our money and business elsewhere.
