Donnie and Bill are personable, knowledgeable, and above all, professional. Even though I am TERRIFIED of heights, I felt completely safe with them. Not saying I wasn't a bit scared at first, but I knew I could trust them to keep me in one piece. The experience itself was absolutely breathtaking and exhilarating, and I would recommend it to anyone. Consider bringing a picnic lunch to enjoy while you wait your turn. Donnie and Bill hugged everyone in my family when we left -- just the sweetest guys. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

I've never hang glided before.......in fact, I have a fear of falling. After reading about Hang Glide Virginia, I decided to tackle my fears head on. Bill was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even offered the groupon rate, unprompted during my phone reservation. My daughter and I each went on the 3500 foot hang glide. Both of us agree that it was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. Once the tow rope was released, my guide asked if I wanted to do some acrobatics. I said, why not? We went into a dive, rolled over both wings, then went into a stall. It was amazing!!! The rest of the trip was a slow descent where I had a change to "drive" the hang glider. Overall excellent experience that I'd recommend for anyone.

Bill and Donny were so friendly! I immediately felt at home and comfortable with them. There were a few minutes before we were released from the tow plane that freaked me out a bit (wind gusts!) but Donny talked me through it. These folks are SUPER nice and obviously know what they're about. Now that I know what to expect, I want to go again and see if even the little bit of fear I had disappears :-)

Top notch staff. Great value. Just a awesome adventure! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique thrill seeking experience.

Met a friendly group who owns an equal level of professionalism and experience. Ive got a fantastic unexpected journey with the crew of Virginia hand gliding. The day I took my first flight with the team at Hang Glide Virginia changed my life! This experience was also a psycological help aswell! Being up there makes you realise the freedom we all seem to miss and you start to question what really matters in life.Any way I am a happier person since that flight! I must say that the team is very warm and they make you feel at ease at all times. They talk you though it all and make sure you are comfortable and happy. They film your flight which you can take home and see it over and over again as you never get sick of the scenery and you never want to forget how espectacular it was.Thank you Hang Glide Virginia!

I never thought I would dare ... but the team at hang glide virginia made me fell so confortable that I didn't hesitate! I came to Viginia from Chile and Must say that it is the most beautiful way to get to know the area while experiencing the thrill of flying like a bird. They also film the ride for you to be able to remember this incredible experience for ever !!! Definitely recomendable !!!

My first time hang-gliding in Onancock, Virginia was one of the most exhilarating experiences that I will never ever forget. It's not like para-sailing or sky-diving, hang-gliding is one in it's own and truly creates a real love for being in the air. The people who run this business are very professional and make it so that this activity is fun and safe for all ages. I definitely recommend to give it a go and to treat yourself to one of the most amazing things to do!
