This HUGE museum displays the many accolades, product lines, dresses and lifestyle of May Kay Ash. Needless to say, she accomplished a lot in her lifetime and the legacy continues to this day. There are countless framed newspaper and magazine articles, letters from politicians, a plethora of information to learn as much as you want about Mrs. Ash. There are also quite a few video monitors that play snippets of information for your enjoyment.

This museum is a great way to spend an hour or so if you're in the vicinity. I am thankful for prior reviews, which alerted me to it's presence. The museum was free and open during standard business hours (of course check the website before you visit). I particularly liked that I could use my cell phone to call or an app for QR codes to get more information about individual items on display. There was a variety of items, which told an amazing story of how Mary Kay transformed the lives of thousands of women. I liked that he museum was about the history of the organization, accolades Mary Kay received, featured cosmetic products for men and women as well as fashion and accessories. The most memorable part of my visit was learning about the contribution and impact Mary Kay had on others and around the works. I enjoyed discovering her books and the sales directory gallery, including the inner circle. I am so glad I ventured to see this museum. It's a hidden gem, which provides insight on topics such as gender, philanthropy, business, marketing, motivation and leadership. Well done Mary Kay. I'm honored to have learned more about your legacy.

Great look into the formation of the company. Tour guides were very well versed in the company. The first cosmetics were very interesting.

We saw Mary Kay Cosmetics headquarters in Addison (Dallas) Texas today. The Mary Kay world headquarters has many works of art. I learned that more than 2.5 million independent beauty consultants sell Mary Kay Products in more than 35 countries around the world. We saw pictures of Mary Kay, prestigious awards she won over the years, magazines featuring Mary Kay and the company, product evolved and packaging, short videos, seminar gowns and career apparel. I admire this entrepreneur. The headquarters building was breathtaking and all the females were dressed to the nines. Suits and dresses. Very professional. Mary Kay Ash is recognized as one of the outstanding leaders of our time. Depicted was makeup and how it changed over the years as well as skin care. I wish there was a store to buy some of the products. I got married wearing Mary Kay products, they are excellent., There is a cafeteria there if one choose to eat as well. Great visit. Very interesting.

This museum is in the HQ's of Mary Kay. A tribute to a woman who really helped other women get out of the kitchen. If you are a fan of Mary Kay Ashe this is a must see. If you have an extra half hour in Addison, its worth a visit. Easy parking, and a great building. But no opportunity to sample or buy the products.

I went to the Mary Kay Museum with my oldest daughter and grandaughter. We thought, yeah we'll learn about how Mary Kay got started, be able to buy some product and maybe learn some application pointers, guess again. While yes, we did learn about how Mary Kay got started (literally - including clothes she wore), there was no where to buy any Mary Kay products and no application technique tips what so ever. They could at least make some newer products available to patrons that visit the museum.

The Mary Kay Museum is a tribute to the wonderful Mary Kay Ash and the company she built. I went to the museum 15+ years ago when I was a MK consultant as part of the company's annual seminar meetings. I loved this visit because the museum is much larger and I had it all to myself! My husband humored me by coming along, just like I humor him at woodworking shows! For people who are associated with Mary Kay or are interested in learning about how the business began and became successful, it is a good place to visit.

I am not even a Mary Kay "person" but this museum was very interesting. She was quite a lady and her legacy is certainly admirable. They have done a great job preserving the company's history inside the corporate building. Well worth the trip!

This is a free museum in Addison, TX, just north of Dallas that contains the history of the Mary Kay philosophy and how she helped many women earn an income who did not necessarily have the technical skills to hold an official job. Many, many families were saved by the money made by the Mary Kay sales force.

If you have a EVER been a Mary Kay independent Beauty Consultant then you SHOULD see this museum! You WANT to see this museum. You will revel in the GLORY of this museum. And even if you have neve been associated with this pink company you will still find this place interesting if you are a woman. Mary Kay, the woman, was ALL about women. Her steadfast belief in Faith, Family, Work...in that order...is what built this empire. It's fun to look back at what was popular over the decades. This empire is a tribute to women everywhere.

Being a long time Mary Kay customer, I was delighted to learn that there was a museum at the corporate headquarters in north Dallas, so we took time for a quick visit on our way through Dallas. The museum is open from 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Friday, with guided tours at 10 am and 2 pm, reserved by calling 972.687.5720. We visited at the end of the day, but found the Visitors Guide with self guided tour information very helpful. The awards and articles about Mary Kay were inspiring, but my favorite displays were of past product lines, and clothing (Mary Kay's gowns and sales directors' suits). I also enjoyed looking for familiar names in the National Sales Directors Hall of Honor, and seeing the plaques highlighting the varied International Sales Directors.
