Friendly staff.Friendly local players.We were able to get a tee time same day & $25 is a bargain.Course is in pretty good shape.Open holes & some challenging holes throughout. Great value for a nice course.

Grand Prairie municipal course but it is in Cedar Hill. The management have put a lot of work into getting this course on track. The greens are pretty nice for a Texas summer and lately the maintenance has been minimal. Good layout that will challenge golfers to think about shots instead of using the "grip-it and rip-it" approach. Trees, traps, and water are plentiful so bring extra balls if you are planning on hacking it up.

Consistency is what I like about this course (ease of getting a tee time, pace of play, conditions, shot value are all above average). I like that houses are not lining fairways, and tee boxes, etc. Some nice elevation changes and a few challenging holes. Is open enough on tee shots that a variety of skill levels can enjoy.

Ive got to say I've only played this course 3 times, but have done so over a 2 month period and must say I'm glad I've found this gem. The greens are in great shapeand the rough isn't bad either specially after the summer months. I've played maybe 10 courses over the last few month but love coming back to this one. Their water holes were very low on this last trip but me and my party still had a blast.The scenery is great and the course location is hidden for the most part.The staff is courteous and the beer is cold. Can't wait to head back in a few weeks or so.

i can always get on, its inexpensive, its public, its clean. great golf course for anyone needing to hit the links. have even played in a tournament here a few times. food at the 19th hole isnt bad either. very nice place to play.

I'm a member of a nearby country club and actually enjoy playing this course more. It's a challenging layout with some very beautiful holes. Since it sits on a hill above the lake, the wind comes into play perhaps a little more than other courses. But, it is a bargain for what you get. For a senior golfer, it's a steal. And, despite being a public course, it seems to play pretty fast, especially during the weekdays, which I enjoy.
