Willie McBride's is not the spot you come to to meet people. It has a terribly small front section of the bar and while the back is somewhat spacious it also is usually booked up for a party. But that is the point. I have been to about 10-15 parties here, all you can drink affairs from like 9-12 for a cost of $30. The bar is midtown but set back from Washington Street, so it is not exactly in the middle of everything. But if you want to throw a party in Hoboken this is a good spot to keep in mind.During the week (I think on Wednesdays) they have trivia night where you can win prizes. So in short, come here for a trivia night if that is your thing during the week; and throw a party here.

Ok went there last night. Had great bands and free admission. So much for the good. now the bad. They advertised on there web page $3 Miller lite all night. After ordering beer and being charged $6. Told the bartender it was suppose to be $3 she said not on Fridays. After showing her the web page she said she would tell her boss. After 10 minutes she did nothing. Then i found the bouncer and showed him. He went and got the manager who proceeded to the back and removed it from there web page. They said it is no longer there and walked away. There were other people asking for it and were told same thing. When asking to talk to the owner, Sean, who would not even come out to talk about it. last time i checked if you advertise something you should honor it. But i guess Willie's don't feel that way since there answer was to remove it from there web page. Needless to say won't be going there any time soon. Beware of false advertisement. They put it up to lure you there shame on you Sean
