If you use the map function it will take you to a parking lot. However, the description states it links the Southdown Plantation with Veterans memorial which we found. Just go to the Southdown Plantation. It is just a bridge but we did see several turtles. The plantation and the Veterans park was well worth our walk. We were able to take several pictures and spend 30 minutes of relaxing walking time on a nice summer evening.

Beautiful place to walk around and relax. The visitor will enjoy walking in downtown Houma. Visitors will enjoy wildlife in the bayou as you walk across the Pedestrian Bridge.

It's a bridge over a fairly ugly Bayou. If you are lucky and able to park (and pay for the meter) you can walk over it. If you're that desperate for something to do go over to the nice library and get a book.
