My husband and I stopped here after going to a few other breweries beforehand (we stopped at Idle Hands on the way - they're only a couple minutes apart). We ended up doing two tastings (a tasting includes 4 beers, but they had 7 available). This might have been one of the cooler breweries we've ever been to. There were benches to sit down as well as a giant game of Jenga for people to play. The bathrooms were immaculate and looked brand new. They sold tons of bottles for purchase as well. The tasting room area was large for people to hang out and relax. They also had a bar area to sit at if that's what you'd prefer. The tasting area was separated to the actual brewing that you could see going on beyond windows that opened up to the area. It was just really nicely decorated. Great place - glad we made it out there!

We stayed 3 blocks from this brewery during a short weekend visit into Boston. First and foremost this place is HARD to spot. we walked past it literally 3 times. When the wind is blowing their flag is hard to read and there is no street signage that would alert you to the side of the warehouse building where this is located. However, that is where the negative stops. This place is awesome. The tasting hall reminds me of an eclectic transcendence between good local art work and good beer. What better mix to have. I love the old wood bar as it reminded me of cheers actually. they have a great selection of beers to taste and are on the Brew Tour as we were joined by one of the tours during our tasting. You can see right into the brewery through the glass at the back of the bar so not sure why you would even need a tour unless you want to be just that close to the process. They have a majority of their selections available for purchase along with your tasting glass which is also available to keep. I highly suggest a visit to this brewery much more personal feel than Sam Adams though that is not to be missed either.

Finally made it out to the newest of the Boston-bordering breweries to find a nicely built tasting room reminiscent of an old beer hall. They had several nice saisons on tap, as well as a Belgian quad and an oatmeal stout based upon an old English recipe. Very easy to get to in Chelsea and is walking distance from the other nanobreweries (Night Shift, Idle Hands) in the area. They sell 32 and 64 ounce growlers as well as a nice selection of bottle conditioned beers. Will definitely be coming back for a few refills!
