All been said before. Best Pancakes I've ever had, and I'm no rookie. Plan for an hour or two wait. My only excuse for waiting over 50 years to come here. is it's an hour away...worth the trip, worth the wait, Won't miss coming next fall....

I loved this place! The pancakes are fantastic and the restaurant is incredibly cute. It was in an idyllic setting, family run and very charming.

My friend introduced me to Goulds a few years ago. We travel three and a half hours just to have the pancakes, sausage and syrup. The coffee and cream is phenomenal..I buy several different sizes of syrup to give as gifts..Absolutely love this place..Super friendly, great service.

great little family farm. Reminds me of when I was little and we went out in fall as a family to get pumpkins and pancakes. Food was good and wait staff was great.

We stopped to stretch our legs at Gould's Sugar House as we were making the drive on the Mohawk Trail. A sweet elderly lady gave us a tour and educated us on maple syrup. This business has been in their family for generations. Very friendly...and, of course, we ended up buying maple syrup for everyone back home. The most reasonable price we had seen anywhere - would recommend stopping. Next time we would like to eat at the restaurant - it had just closed when we arrived.

For .25 cents you can't beat it. You might actually want two, one for each hand. YUM YUM. You can also buy syrup and other gifts in their shop. They were only open until 2:00PM

My family's been coming here for nearly 35 years. Family tradition! And now my husband and I have been coming here for the past 12 years. Families visit and sign the guest book, and you can look back to see how many other families have made it their tradition. Each year they write a short story that appears on the back if the paper menu about what's been going in the past year. Helen Gould is the matriarch, and every year she works the register - she is so sweet! But the BEST part is the small bowl of chopped-up pickles - homemade every year, at least up till last year. Helen said that they may stop making them... which is a TRAGEDY. You can buy a jar, but only one, and it's totally worth it. They go great with the pancakes!Today we're off to visit for the 13th year. We'll visit the Bridge of Flowers, which is beautiful in early fall. Can't wait to make the tradition continue!

I've been coming to Gould's Sugar House for over forty years. I have brought my own children there. I annually took my second grade classes up for field trips to watch the sugaring process and then come in to enjoy yummy pancakes. Back in the day, Helen Gould would do the walk with us and explain everything to the kids. It was a wonderful experience for them! The pancakes seem to be everyone's favorite, but I prefer the waffles. They are the best! Helen's pickles are like no other, incredibly delicious! She makes them herself! The atmosphere is friendly, warm and cozy, with a rustic charm.Gould's is a family run business, with Helen still at the helm. If you're lucky, you may have the pleasure of chatting with her!Bring home some of the best maple syrup made while you're there!

The pancakes here are absolutely to die for! Perfectly fluffy, and served with their home made maple syrup. It's a really quaint little place, and the service was quick and friendly, and the price great. I really can't find fault!!

We have been passing this place for years and always wondered what it was about . We checked and when we realized that it is seasonal we made a stop today.Pancakes and waffles were as good as others said they were .No wait on a Thursday morning.

We make it a point each year to have breakfast at a local sugar house, at least once. We have to say they all have charm....but our hands down favorite is Gould's ! We love the dining room...rustic charm....with a lovely wood stove. You need to remember it can be chilly so dress for it. Their hours are 8:30 - 2:00. On week ends they tend to busy...so to avoid the lines we go mid-week. The food is excellent....great coffee...friendly staff. $25 including tip for 2...we thought it reasonable as this is a way to keep the farm profitable. All in all a great experience !

They process the maple syrup right there on the premises. The owners/managers were so kind and answered all our questions. Their family story is one that will inspire you.

This gem is a seasonal restaurant so you have to catch them at the right time. It is open in the fall and then is open in the late winter to early spring. If you are planning to visit on the weekend be prepared to wait 2 hours or more as this is always a popular spot. The wait is more than worth it however. I have been going here since I was five and will continue to bring my own kids here some day. I even started the tradition of leaving toy cars here for other kids to play with while they wait for their meals, look for them on the wall as you walk in!

We grew up in htis area and have been going to Gould's as a rite of Spring for years. This is a nice family run breakfast/lunch location. Bring the kids to learn how maple sap is transformed into syrup, sugar and my favorite maple cream.Sign up for the dining room when you enter then you can sit by the wood stove, watch the sap evaporator, get a 25 cent maple frosty ice cream cone or visit the gift shop. There is generally a wait of well over an hour to eat so plan accordingly. They are open during sugaring season, March thru April and again in the Fall starting in September. The food is mostly breakfast fare, pancakes, waffles, eggs, corn fritters, sugar on snow, hot dogs and hamburgers. Everything is yummy and the homemade dill pickles served at each table are so good and extra sour.
