tunnels

This is the first time I have dived the Tunnels. It is a great dive. You go down, through a natural tunnel from about 30' to 70' and there is plenty to see.

Scuba very nice, unfortunately for me we did it with a bad tour guide who did not get to see the most interesting points. Very nice to go through the tunnels and beautiful coral reefs.

I got to dive this site twice in one week. Cool deep dive and has a little bit of history. This is a dive that John Glenn did after his splashdown in Grand Turk. I have gone thru many swim thru's and what makes this cool is that when you exit the tunnel....... ummm OK I am not going to tell you, you will just have to dive it and find out for yourself.

It's very easy to muk up the tunnel. Go in first behind the guide especially if there are newer divers in your group.

My personal feeling is this is one of the best dive sites in Grand Turk. Make sure you experience it for yourself!

First dive of the day, option to go deep or stay at reef view, plenty of little sharks, turtles, large fish, colors abound, Oasis Divers, good crew, good experience through Carnival Cruise for timing and non-rushed return.

It was my first deep dive after getting certified, but it was really amazing. 75 ft down and a wall...fish, turtles,coral, a not so happy Barracuda. It was great.

Great experience in these fabulous clear waters... A natural play ground.......
