hubbard house underground railroad museum

We called to visit and were told that they only give tours to groups! We were a family of five and wanted to see this historic place. Inexcusable!

The Hubbard House is a marvelous museum that has just recently expanded to accommodate more exhibits and visitors. It contains Ashtabula history, stories and collections relevant to the role it played in the anti-slavery movement in Ohio, and Civil War exhibits. Worth the trip.

This remarkable museum holds much for those who want to learn about and understand the real courage of Abolitionists and of those held in slavery. .
