edward peterman museum of railroad history

If you like model railroads this is a fun model railroad to visit. Times to visit are limited; currently it is Tuesday night and Saturday. The depot itself is historic and interesting building. There is an older railroad car outside the museum area. There is limited free parking by the museum. The location is at the Cal Train station in Santa Clara.

We visited the museum on a Tuesday evening (it is open from 6-9 pm on Tuesdays) and my 3-year-old was fascinated, although he sometimes wanted to touch the model trains rushing by... We spent an hour with watching them, actually we did not see anything else, but the two giant train tables. The staff was very friendly and it was clear that they are crazy about the railway.

San Jose空港から無料シャトルバスでCal Trainに乗車すべくSanta Clara駅に到着しました。残念ながら内部は公開されていませんでしたが、Cal Trainの駅には珍しく大きな建物があり、旧型の客車がホームに展示されていました。この客車が保存車輌だと思われます。事前に情報を収集せず訪問した為、駅舎の内部等が公開される日でなかった事が残念です。
