war of 1812 bicentennial peace garden trail

Hidden behind the "historic Yellow House" on Center Street in Lewiston, New Yor4k is a lovely garden dedicated to peace. It is one of many that stretch from Canada across much of New York State (you'll have to look at the trail map). We last visited during the Lewiston Art Festival when it was way too crowded to truly enjoy it. It contains, among other things, a fountain and a stage. The flowers are seasonal. There are very clean restrooms there as well.
